Contents and Mode of Action :

 MSW 365 contains a synergistic blend of highly advanced and selectively adopted microorganisms, which are naturally occurring, non-genetically engineered; which have been subjected to stringent antibiotic screening; which are designed to provide accelerated degradation of difficult to digest fats, oils, protein, starch, carbohydrates, uric acid, detergents, hydrocarbons, phenols; cotton, biodegradable plastics, hair, tissue, filters etc.  


It also contains the nutrients required by these microbes which are not available in the municipal solid waste.


The Mineral solubilising Microbes present in MSW 365 degrade the Minerals present in the Municipal Solid Waste.

Thiobacillus microbes in MSW 365 oxidize the H2S gas.

Some Lactobailluscombat E coli and Salmonella.

Nitrosomonas converts Ammonia to Nitrites.

Nitrobacter converts Nitrite into nitrate

Obligates autotrophs solubilize Phosphorous.


It also Contains Activated Carbon, Activated Hydrated Sodium Aluminium Silicate, Activated Aluminum Sulfate, EDTA, Humic Substance, Saponins from Herbs like Yucca, Methi, Oxygen liberating compounds, Enzymes..


Activated Carbon adsorbs obnoxious gases.  It also binds virus. It helps in removing halogens such as ozone, chlorine and bromine; and in removing color and metabolic by-products. It adsorbs Chlorine and some chloramine, many dissolved organic contaminants, trihalomethanes (THM), and phenolics, total organic carbon (TOC), oil and hydrocarbon contamination, ozone, bromic acid and total organic halogens (TOX), adsorbable organic halogens (AOX) including chloroform, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), colors, pesticides, odors and more.


Activated Hydrated Sodium Aluminium Silicate also adsorbs poisonous gases. It improves CEC.


Activated Aluminum Sulfate helps in coagulating all the suspended solids. It lowers the pH.


EDTA is a bleach precursor. It binds Heavy Metals.


Humic Substances have the ability to influence in particular the metabolism of proteins and carbonhydrates of microbes by catalytic means. This leads to a direct devastating effect against bacteria cells or virus particles. A second mechanism is related to the inter-ionic bonds of high-molecular protein fractions (toxins) of infectious microbes. Their toxic impact on physiological processes of mucous membrane cells can be weakened considerably or even blocked completely.


Yucca and Methi adsorb harmful gases.


Oxygen liberating compound is an important auxiliary agent in organic synthesis for oxidizing plenty of organics and functioning - as the epoxy oxidizer of the twin bonds of organic chemicals. It i’s also a free radical introductory agent in many polymeric reactions. It can be used to oxidize hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and other reduced sulfur compounds, such as mercaptans, sulfides, disulfides, and sulfites in waste water treatment


Enzymes like Protease and Lipase help in degrading the Proteins and greases.


Biomethanation using MSW-365:

Here the biodegradable organic matter (This  fraction will be around 40% of Total MSW) obtained after a mechanical segration of the total MSW and after Particle size reduction; is digested by functional Microbes either in specially designed digesters (Anaerobic) or in isolated open yards (Aerobic).


These specifically designed microbial products degrade the organic matter such as kitchen waste, vegetable market waste, paper, grass cutting, and yard trimmings (Preferably hydrolyzed Or added with sufficient water or Municipal Sewage Water periodically to monitor a moisture range of about 14%) and during this process the combustible gas methane CH4, and inert gas carbon dioxide CO2 are produced.


The digestion is usually allowed for 20–30 days.


The CH4 gas can be used to produce power through a biogas engine connected to electric generator.


The remaining digestate (slurry) is a soil conditioner of good quality and free from pathogens.


With the help of a solid/liquid separator,

Organic fertilizer (fit for use after removal of  undesired materials such as glass and metals) is obtained and


The treated water can be safely used for irrigation.

For Every 1 MT of the biodegradable organic matter obtained after a mechanical segration of the total MSW and after Particle size reduction;

1. Add 300g MSW-365 for Open Dumps (Aerobic Process) or 350g MSW-365 for Closed reactors (Anarobic Process)

2. Add 1 Kg Jaggery

3. Add Sufficient water or Municipal Sewage Water to monitor a moisture range of about 14% (throughout the treatment period of about 20-30 Days)

4. Blend the whole mass

5. Keep in Closed Reactors or Open Dumps. Heap height may be maintained upto 1 m.
